ClimateFast 2013

Dear friends,

We have been adding photos of the ClimateFasters to the follow-us page. And don't forget to check the Blogs page. Frances is posting regularly to her blog.

Upcoming events

In addition to the regular presence on the Hill between 9 am and 6 pm, there are special events. Check the calendar regularly for updates.

Thursday, Sept 26 at 6:00pm on Parliament Hill

Come Round Dance with the O-Town Boys on the lawn at Parliament Hill

We are awaiting confirmation that coffee and bannock will be provided to participants and the supporters of the ClimateFast.

Everyone who supports the ClimateFast is welcome to join us!

This is an excellent opportunity for our community to show that we are supportive of non-Indigenous residents of Canada's environmental concerns and actions, that we walk our talk of living together and sharing the land, honouring the treaties.

Friday, Sept 27 at noon, there will be a march from Parliament Hill to 24 Sussex Drive (the Prime Minister's residence). Please join us if you can.

Saturday, Sept 28 at 7:00pm there will be a screening of "Bidder 70" at Friend's Meeting House. 91A Fourth Avenue, Ottawa. Bidder 70 is a personal story about Tim DeCristopher, surrounded by a wider context of citizen action, our history of peaceful civil disobedience, and grass roots movements demanding government and industry accountability
