Dear friends of climate action!

What a wonderful and busy time it is for climate action in this city and province! Scroll down for events starting tomorrow - with street action at Bay and King, and for TCFF film screenings taking place at locations around the city this Thursday and July 4th.

Our Kitchen Table Climate Conversations training was a great success with 70 participants from many different communities around Ontario! You can find our materials at this link: www.climatefast.ca/kitchen-table-conversations. We’ll be offering additional training and support for anyone interested in getting involved so please get in touch: lyn@climatefast.ca if you would like to be a host or facilitator for one of these climate conversations. Our aim is to have 1000 climate conversations across the province before the election in the fall. A big thank you to all of the trainers who joined us: Franz Hartmann, Erika Reyes, Rachel Wang, Antonia Sappong, and Samantha Green and to all of our organizers, facilitators and volunteers.

4 Corners Action on Bay Street - TOMORROW! TUESDAY JUNE 25TH!

Hosted by Extinction Rebellion Toronto

Tues. June 25, 8 .m. - 6 p.m.

Bay and King

Let's remind Bay Street that simple pleasures like songs and soap bubbles easily outshine a billion dollars in fossil fuel dividends.  XR (Extinction Rebellion) Toronto is inviting any and all musicians, mimes, clowns, jugglers, dancers and artists of all kinds to come down to King and Bay and perform. Why are we doing this?  Because governments, media companies and industry haven't delivered on our demands yet which include:

1. The the Media and Government tell the truth about our climate crisis.

2. That the government and businesses develop a plan that brings us to net-zero emissions by 2025.

3. A people's assembly to oversee the transition.
