From our friends at Climate Pledge Collective - TTC ad campaign

Our campaign to put climate crisis ads on the TTC has taken off!  We have initial concept pieces from our graphic designer. And we've raised over $7000!  We are so grateful and amazed that we're walking around grinning from ear to ear.  But we have to finalize our contract with Pattison Media by the end of the week -- and we still need to raise another $2000.  Please contribute and forward this emailto friends or family members.

In cooperation with FridaysforFuture/ClimateStrike Canada we are asked to be involved in climate activism Sept 20 - 27There will be a worldwide mobilization that weekAt the UN countries will be discussing increased climate action ambition and it’s vital that we the citizens pressure them to do so. You may not know that while renewable energy is growing, so too is fossil fuel use - and resulting emissions are still growing, not shrinking. That’s why our climate activism right now is absolutely essential! To get involved in developing plans for September, please email Anne Keary at:

GreenPAC, a non-partisan organization that seeks to promote and recognize environmental leadership in all the parties has a brilliant idea for getting attention across the country to environmental issues during the election campaign. They plan to hold 100 debates running in 100 ridings simultaneously across the country on October 7.  Specific ridings where support is needed in the GTA: Don Valley East, Don Valley North, Etobicoke-Lakeshore, Etobicoke North, Scarborough-Agincourt, Scarborough Centre, Scarborough-Guildwood, Scarborough North, Scarborough-Rouge Park and Scarborough Southwest. GreenPAC would like to hear from you if you would like to help.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Can you help? Would love to hear from you! We are especially in need of help with volunteer co-ordination, and help with the Kitchen Table Climate Conversations program. We also love to hear from people who can table for events or do data entry.

Thank you for all you are doing - and all we are doing together. Let’s act on climate - fast!

From the Kitchen Table Climate Conversations Training on June 22nd.
