Canada's role, in allowing our emissions to grow and in obstructing international negotiations, has been particularly damaging. We are the only signatory nation of the Kyoto Protocol to simply declare that we have no intention of meeting the targets we pledged to work towards.
With no emissions reduction programs in place, our emissions will continue to grow. Furthermore, by withdrawing from Kyoto, we act in bad faith; we betray the international process necessary for survival. Read more
