All my short life, I have been concerned about the Environment and believed that something needed to be done. I have been thinking about the present and future of our society and climate change keeps making me cry to read what is happening to people around the world. For myself, I am worried about the present generation, and future as the sicknesses are getting worse.

We need bold act on climate change and to not take small steps to address the problem. I read all the reports, and I am shocked to hear what they say. There needs to be a call for Climate Justice and Leadership.

For me, I have pushed myself to reduce my own footprint in regards to how much I use in materials and greenhouse gas emissions I emit. Beyond that, I am vegan, which helps me be more sensitive to the environment and animals. What more can I do?

I have rode my bicycle with many others throughout Alberta to hear stories on the Tar Sands including flying over and biking through the Tar Sands. I have been arrested for Forest issues in Quebec. I have been helping Aboriginal people throughout Ontario push for clean up of their lands. Beyond all of that, I cry to hear that true Justice and Leadership has not been taken to address Climate Change.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
