We cannot ignore indigenous rights to say ‘no’ and still claim we want reconciliation. We cannot continue to build pipelines and still hope to avoid climate disaster - there should be no new fossil fuel infrastructure!

Municipal Lobbying Campaign - SCARBOROUGH TRAINING FRIDAY JANUARY 11 TH  7:00

Location: ANC space in Scarborough Village Community Rec Centre, 3600 Kingston Rd. (northeast corner of Markham and Kingston). Take subway to Kennedy, any 116, 86 or Eglinton express bus east on Eglinton to Markham Rd. and walk 5 minutes south on Markham to Kingston. ( Change in date - the space was not available on the 9 th  or 10 th ).

COMMUNITY FUTURES IN SCARBOROUGH AND ETOBICOKE

Photo Jan 04, 5 53 43 PMClimateFast together with Green Neighbours Network and Toronto Green Community is launching Community Futures - Sustainable Neighbourhoods initiatives in Scarborough and Etobicoke and we are seeking community members for project committees for each location. These committees will work with a community animator to offer visioning sessions and workshops over the next six months. . If this interests you please contact  lyn@climatefast.ca
